Victorian Style

The very popular and most widely used design of all, available in either three facets or five complimenting any home, adding elegance and a lovely room to relax in. As with all our conservatories you have a huge selection of products to glaze the roof with.

Edwardian

Possibly the most versatile conservatory of all, creating the maximum internal space while maintaining a distinct and interesting looking conservatory.
This style is also available in our new Sundyle roof system.

P-Shape

By adding an extension to any of the traditional designs you can create that extra space and have the opportunity to link one room to another via your conservatory. Come to us with your requirements and we will design your own individual conservatory.

Lean To

Very simple and practical, this design maximises space and is very economical, while looking good on any home. Where it does come into its own is when height is a problem, making it very practical for use on bungalows. By adding a hip or by using a higher pitch you can achieve a very smart looking room.

Gable Front

This very popular design is refreshing and very good value for money, suiting either the older or newer property. This room has a lovely feeling of internal space and simplicity.

Sundyal Roof

At last a solution that extends your living space into the garden and can be used throughout the year. The versatile Sundyal Sun room combines the benefits of an extension with the simple elegance of a conservatory at an affordable price. Keeping you cool in Summer and warm in Winter.

Wide Fronted Victorian

Looking for a conservatory with a difference, then look no further. While offering the good looks of the traditional Victorian, it gives you greater floor space for your furnishings. This design is becoming very popular and is a sound investment.

Colours and Finishes
Who says all conservatories have to be white? At Custom Glaze, we offer a number of different colour options, including white and a choice of woodgrain effect finishes in golden oak, mahogany and rosewood. A woodgrain effect finish enables you to enjoy the aesthetic appeal of a timber style conservatory, but without the associated maintenance requirements—such as the need for regular painting or rot proofing. A woodgrain finish is also available with a white finish inside.
Should you have a particular colour in mind, then at an extra cost we can have your frames sprayed virtually any colour to suit your requirements.

Glazing
The glass we use in all our conservatories is manufactured by Pilkington, the world leader in glass technology. Should you have a specific problem regarding insulation or a heat build up problem, i.e you face south, then we can recommend the use of glass from our Premier Range of specialist glass. Either click on the link above or visit one of our showrooms for details of Pilking Active self cleaning glass and other glass options available.

Ventilation
So important in the design of your conservatory, this can be created by the traditional use of fanlight openings or by using larger tilt and turn type opening windows, Ventilation in the roof can be provided by operating either manual or electronic roof vents.

Accessories
When it comes to your new conservatory, the smallest details can make the biggest difference. To help you create the ideal conservatory environment, Custom Glaze can offer you access to a range of products that allow you to make the perfect finishing touch, these include:
Blinds • Shades • Flooring • Furniture.

Exactly how is it built?
Once you have placed an order with Custom Glaze you will be visited by one of our highly trained conservatory surveyors who will confirm with you the exact details of the conservatory. He will explain fully where we are to dispose of the water from your new roof, the exact position of the conservatory, brick type and colour and he will be ready to answer any questions you may have.

The next stage is a confirmation of starting times and dates, which will be confirmed with our building manager.

Once on site we will clear any slabs etc to one side or will remove them from the site for you: we will then commence the digging for the footings. These are a minimum of 600mm or 1000mm for a higher wall. Concrete is then poured into this trench and brickwork is laid to damproof membrane level.

With insulation and steel mesh the base is trowelled off to the finished level. The low dwarf wall is then built up to the agreed height, which is again fully insulated. The inside of this brickwork is either plastered or left as face brickwork. During this time the electrical cables are run through for electrical points and lighting. We are now ready to continue with the conservatory and completion.
